While in San Antonio for promotional events, Demmi Garcia had the chance to meet up with Tejano TikTok star Lexie Rodriguez for a quick interview about her upcoming projects.
Demmi has been making big waves in the Tejano industry these past few months, especially with some of her newest singles such as, “Con Tu Amor” featuring David Lee Garza, “Tas Loca Baby” with Tejano Bluesman, and the chart-topping collaboration “Nada de Ti” with Shelly Lares, Monica Saldivar, and Sonja de la Paz. All three songs are out now and available on all digital platforms.
Lexie and Demmi also chatted about TikTok and how Demmi is already gaining momentum in followers on this platform by showcasing her musical talents. She also had the chance to share the stage with fellow TikToker, El Tejano John Angel, as they both sang “Cuatro Caminos” with Ram Herrera in Houston a few weeks ago. Also, a huge thank you to Ram Herrera and the Outlaw Band for welcoming and sharing the stage with the next generation of Tejano artists.
Demmi is also set to perform at the 17th annual Tejano Music National Convention, or Vegas Tejano Music Week, this year on Saturday, August 21, as part of Shelly’s All-American Showcase hosted by Tejano icon Shelly Lares. This will be Demmi’s first performance at Vegas Tejano Music Week, and she is looking forward to attending and preforming at this event. “If you’ll be there, come out and support us,” she exclaimed.
Stay up to date with Demmi on all her social media platforms as she continues to make waves in the industry.
