Known for his emotionally driven songwriting and fan-favorite hits like “Adonde Me Llevas,” “Porque Tu,” and “Irremediable,” Stevie D is now charting a new course—one that expands his signature style into a broader, more dynamic Texas sound.

“Third Row Revival is more than just a collaboration, it’s a movement,” Stevie D shared. “It’s a little bit of Tejano, a little bit of country, a little bit of rock and roll… we’re just going to have some fun with it and introduce a new style—or an old style, wherever it fits.”

The project is rooted in the rich traditions of both genres, delivering a fresh Tex-Mex fusion that combines heartfelt storytelling with polished, crossover-ready production. The result is a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking, designed to resonate across diverse audiences.

Stevie D revealed that the idea for 3rd Row Revival came from a desire to evolve creatively.
“I kind of took a step back from what I was creating and wanted to go in a different direction,” he said in a recent interview on Tejano Nation Radio. “I felt like there was so much more out there… I looked in the rearview mirror and then into the future and came up with this idea.”

That vision quickly gained momentum after connecting with Eddie Perez, whose production expertise and industry pedigree helped bring the concept to life.

“I talked to my buddy Eddie Perez… everybody knows him as one of the best producers in the industry,” Stevie D added. “He’s working a lot of magic on this project.”

Serving as producer, music director, and co-owner, Perez has assembled an elite lineup of musicians spanning both Tejano and country music circles. Contributors include John Michael Whitby, Johnny Garcia, Michael Guerra, Josh Baca, Eddie Perez Jr., and Hayden Vitera—each bringing a wealth of experience and credibility to the project.

Together, the team has been working between Texas and Tennessee, fine-tuning a sound that reflects the spirit of both regions.

“We’ve been going back and forth… just having fun with it,” Stevie D said. “He’s brought together some awesome musicians, and I think it’s sounding really good. It’s different, but not so different after all—it’s going to resonate with people.”

The debut releases from 3rd Row Revival are expected to make an immediate impact. Among the standout tracks are “The Last One I’d Love,” “I Wasn’t Gonna Quit,” “My Tulsa White Trash,” and “My Tex Mex Ex,” with nearly all songs penned by Stevie D himself. The project is set to roll out as an EP, with a lead single anticipated soon.

“It’s a special project,” Stevie D emphasized. “I’ve written about ninety-nine percent of it so far, and we’re really excited about what’s coming.”

With themes ranging from heartbreak and resilience to identity and redemption, Third Row Revival showcases Stevie D’s lyrical honesty at the forefront, elevated by top-tier musicianship and production.

Poised to make waves across Texas, California, and the Southwest, the project represents more than just a musical collaboration—it’s a cultural bridge connecting two deeply rooted genres.

As anticipation builds, one thing is clear: 3rd Row Revival isn’t just a project—it’s the beginning of a new era in Tex-Mex music.
