Two of the most influential names in Tejano and Norteño music have officially joined forces as Siggno and Solido premiere the highly anticipated music video for their collaboration, “Traté De Olvidarte, Hasta La Cima Del Cielo.”
The landmark medley brings together decades of musical excellence, uniting the signature sounds of both groups into one unforgettable performance that fans have long hoped to see. Filmed at Pro Sound Recording Studio in McAllen, Texas, the video captures the energy and camaraderie between the two bands.
The collaboration seamlessly blends two beloved classics. “Traté De Olvidarte,” originally recorded by Siggno for their 2007 album Capítulo 5, was written by frontman Jesse Turner alongside the late Carlos Corona. The track is paired with “Hasta La Cima Del Cielo,” the breakout hit from Solido’s 2000 debut album, penned by acclaimed songwriter Jose Roberto Martinez.
Beyond delivering a wave of nostalgia, the release also marks an important milestone for Siggno. The medley serves as the fourth single from their upcoming album Su Legado 1938, a project that continues to showcase the group’s evolution while paying tribute to the foundation of their signature sound.
More than just a collaboration, the video stands as a celebration of legacy, brotherhood, and the enduring impact both bands have had on the genre. By uniting two cornerstone acts of the Tejano/Norteño scene, “Traté De Olvidarte, Hasta La Cima Del Cielo” highlights the timeless connection between artists and fans—and the music that continues to bring them together across generations.
