Grupo Siggno, the popular Tejano band from Texas, has released a live version of their hit song “Mi Historia Entre Tus Dedos” (My Story Between Your Fingers) on YouTube and digital music platforms.
The song, which was originally recorded in 2005, is a cover of the Italian singer Gianluca Grignani‘s ballad of the same name. The live version was performed as part of the Latin Grammy-winning band’s VHR Music: Live Sessions, a series of intimate and acoustic concerts committed to celebrating and promoting the unique traditions of Tejano and Cumbia music.
“Mi Historia Entre Tus Dedos” is a romantic and melancholic song that tells the story of a man who is heartbroken after his lover leaves him. He reflects on their relationship and wonders if she will ever find someone like him. He also asks her to stay with him for one more night, even if he knows it is useless. The song expresses the pain and regret of losing someone you love.
Gruppo Siggno’s rendition of the song adds a Tejano twist to the original melody, with accordion, bajo sexto, and electric guitar. The band’s lead singer, Jesse Turner, delivers an emotional and passionate performance that conveys the feelings of the lyrics.
The live version of “Mi Historia Entre Tus Dedos” has received positive feedback from the fans, who praised the band’s talent and charisma. Some fans also expressed their nostalgia for the song, which they consider a Siggno classic.
