Fans of Tejano and Norteño music are gearing up for a major moment as Freddie Records drops a video teaser for an exciting collaboration between Grupo Siggno and Grupo Solido.
The label shared the news across social media, building anticipation with the announcement:
“NEW VIDEO ALERT!! Get ready for the exciting grand premiere of ‘Traté De Olvidarte, Hasta La Cima Del Cielo,’ the new video collaboration from Grupo Solido and Grupo Siggno. Premiering tomorrow, April 10th at 6:30pm CST. Watch it exclusively on YouTube/FreddieRecordsTV.”
This landmark collaboration brings together two of the genre’s most celebrated and influential groups for a medley fans have long been waiting for. Latin Grammy-winning powerhouse Siggno joins forces with two-time Latin Grammy-winning legends Solido, merging their iconic sounds into one unforgettable performance.
The medley blends two beloved classics. “Traté De Olvidarte,” originally recorded by Siggno for their 2007 album Capítulo 5, was written by frontman Jesse Turner alongside the late Carlos Corona. The track is paired with “Hasta La Cima Del Cielo,” the breakthrough hit from Solido’s 2000 debut album, penned by acclaimed songwriter Jose Roberto Martinez.
Beyond the nostalgia, the collaboration also marks a key milestone for Siggno. The release serves as the fourth single from their highly anticipated upcoming album Su Legado 1938, signaling the group’s continued evolution while honoring the roots that built their legacy.
This powerful partnership represents more than just a new release—it’s a celebration of legacy, brotherhood, and musical excellence. By uniting two cornerstone acts of the Tejano/Norteño scene, the project highlights the enduring influence both Siggno and Solido have had on generations of fans.
With the premiere set for April 10, excitement continues to build as fans eagerly await the full visual experience of this historic collaboration.
