The spirit of Cinco de Mayo comes alive in West Texas as Magic 106.5 brings back its highly anticipated Cinco de Mayo Celebración on Saturday, May 2, at the South Plains Fairgrounds in Lubbock, Texas. Promising a full day of tradición, cultura, comida, and nonstop música, the annual event is set to deliver one of the biggest Tejano parties of the spring.
Headlining the Ted Liggett Música Más Grande stage is an electrifying lineup featuring Latin Grammy-winning group Siggno, fan-favorite hitmaker AJ Castillo, legendary Tejano ensemble La Fiebre, crowd-pleasers The Homeboyz, and rising talents David Lee Rodriguez y Cuatro 11. Together, the stacked bill promises a high-energy soundtrack from start to finish.
In addition to the live concerts, the celebration will showcase local culture with special performances by Coronado High School’s Mariachi Mesteño and the Lubbock High Ballet Folklórico de Oro, highlighting the next generation of artists keeping traditions alive.
Gates open at 11 a.m., giving attendees a full day to enjoy live entertainment, a lively cantina, food booths, and a dedicated kids area—making it a true family-friendly experience. Presale tickets are priced at $25, while children 12 and under receive free admission, making it accessible for families across the region.
For fans looking to elevate their experience, table reservations are available in the Viva Land Group VIP area by calling 806-745-3434.
