Singer-songwriter Cleiri signs with CHR Records, announces ‘La Distancia’ single and video

Award-winning singer-songwriter Cleiri is the newest addition to the CHR Records talent roster as the University of Texas at Brownsville graduate, who is a former morning producer for a news station in Harlingen, Texas, continues cultivating her musical craft with the release of a new single and music video.  

As production is beginning on what will be her first full album set for release in early 2023, CHR Records would like to introduce to you her most recent independent single titled “La Distancia.” This international Spanish balada was composed by Cleiri herself, as are most of her recordings.  

“I find inspiration for my music in the human experience regarding love, life, and the natural world,” said Cleiri. “My music is an original blend of Spanish-ballad-style and soft-rock with a dash of ranchera-style which pays tribute to my roots in singing.”

“La Distancia” also features a romantic video filmed on the South Padre Island seashore. In the video you will see how this talented artist interprets her music, full of poise and heartfelt emotion.

Her independent single release of “La Distancia” is creating a great musical foundation to what is sure to be a long and lasting career for this young talent and CHR Records.

In November of 2021, Cleiri received an award for Best New Singer and Songwriter from the Brownsville Music Legacy Awards and was featured in “La Pluma Musical,” a column of the newspaper El Extra. 

After a series of independent recordings, Cleiri was booked to a full summer residency at Isla Grand Beach Resort on South Padre Island, where she and her four-piece band performed four to five nights per week to thousands of guests on South Padre Island.  It was at that time that Cleiri was featured as the cover story of the Coastal Current Entertainment mewspaper. 

In addition to recording her debut album for CHR Records, Cleiri is now touring throughout the State of Texas and into Mexico.
