Rising Tejano singer Aisha released her first original solo single, “Ese Sabor,” on Tuesday (September 13).
The track, written and produced by Gabriel Zavala, is from Aisha’s upcoming debut album, which will also be produced by Zavala.
“This cumbia is upbeat, fun and sexy,” Aisha told Tejano Nation. “I wanted something fun that would fit me and Zavala nailed it with this song. I’m ecstatic…so excited to be working with Gabriel Zavala and look forward to finishing my first CD.”
The back-up vocalist for Stephanie Lynn, Oscar G., Savannah Votion, Sarah Monique and more, serves up her second single as a solo artist. Aisha released a remake of Stefani Montiel’s 1994 hit “Poquito A Poco” in May.
“Thank you to all my supporters from the bottom of my heart who continue to follow my career and make this possible for me,” Aisha added.
