Eight-year-old Tejano newcomer Mia released the official video for her debut single “El Perdón” on Monday.  The song is a cover the 2015 worldwide hit from Nicky Jam and Enrique Iglesias.

“We’re so excited to finally be able to share Mia’s first single and music video with you guys,” Mia’s father Chris Garcia posted on YouTube.

The video was produced by Ryan Bazan and shot at the singer’s grandparents’ home and Emma Long Park in Manor, Texas. The track was produced by award-winning hitmaker Gabriel Zavala.

“Gabriel Zavala is very well known for his ‘Club Style Cumbias’ for many artists in the Tejano Industry,”Garcia added. “We laid vocals down at Spitshine Studios in Austin, Texas with our good friend Russ Pickman.”

Mia wanted to thank her supporters.

“Thank you for watching my music video,” she said. “Thank you to all the people who support me, especially my parents Chris and Yuli and family, who made this dream possible.”
