The young performers from Laredo, Texas, have steadily expanded their presence, recently appearing at Pachangas at the Plaza in San Antonio alongside established Tejano artists, including Stefani Montiel and Dr. Patsy Torres.

Performing alongside experienced artists offers emerging musicians an opportunity to reach new audiences while becoming part of the tradition that has shaped Tejano music for generations.

For Kamila y Bella Divas, that progress reflects a journey already underway.

Building Their Name Through Live Performances

Their performance résumé includes an appearance at the 2024 Rancho Alegre Conjunto Music Festival in Austin, where they shared the lineup with Conjunto Puro Corazon, Gilberto Perez Jr. y Sus Compadres, Los Cucuys de Rodney Rodriguez, and Los Arcos Hermanos Peña.

These opportunities allow the young performers to connect with conjunto and Tejano fans while gaining experience on festival stages alongside established acts.

Their continued live appearances are complemented by a growing catalog of recordings that reflects their commitment to developing as artists.

Songs in their catalog include “Tejanito,” “Ven Amor,” “Medio Camino Al Siempre,” “Los Compromisos,” “La Luz De Tus Ojos,” “Tony De La Rosa Special,” and “A Mi Me Gusta Bailar.” Their earlier recordings also include “Se Me Fue Mi Amor,” “Burrito Sabanero,” and “Arre Borriquito.”

With a growing collection of songs and continued opportunities to perform, Kamila y Bella Divas are building their musical identity one release and one stage at a time.

New Single “Con las Besties”

Kamila y Bella Divas added another release to their catalog with “Con las Besties,” which arrived September 18, 2026.

Written by Heather Jolene Alcantar, the song brings another chapter to the group’s developing body of work while highlighting the youthful personality they bring to their music.

For emerging performers, releasing new music is an important step in building a recognizable sound and reaching listeners beyond live performances. Each song creates another opportunity to connect with fans, introduce their music to radio programmers, and strengthen their presence within the Tejano community.

“Con las Besties” adds to a growing collection that demonstrates the young performers’ continued activity in the studio as well as onstage.

More Than a Name to Watch

Emerging artists are often described as the future of a musical genre. But Kamila y Bella Divas are already taking steps to establish themselves in the present. They have performed at recognized music festivals, continued expanding their recorded catalog, and shared stages with established Tejano performers.

Their journey is still developing, leaving plenty of room for new performances, recordings, and opportunities to reach wider audiences.

For fans of Tejano and conjunto music, following young performers at this stage offers a chance to witness their growth as they develop their sound, gain experience, and establish connections with the community that supports the music.

Carrying Tejano and Conjunto Into the Next Generation

Tejano and conjunto music have long been shaped by generations of musicians who passed their songs, traditions, and influences from one generation to the next.

The music has become part of family gatherings, community celebrations, dance halls, radio stations, and the broader cultural identity of Texas. Preserving that legacy depends not only on celebrating the artists who built it, but also on supporting younger performers as they find their own voices.

Every generation brings new personalities, experiences, and influences to the music while building on the foundation established by those who came before.

Kamila y Bella Divas are beginning to write their own chapter through their performances, recordings, and continued involvement in the Tejano and conjunto scene.

Their story is still unfolding, but their work is already underway. As they continue performing and releasing music, these young Laredo artists are contributing to the ongoing story of a musical tradition that depends on new generations to keep it moving forward.
