BROWNSVILLE, Texas — Revo Live Band is bringing a spooky twist to the dance floor with “Noche de Brujas,” an original Halloween-themed cumbia that blends infectious rhythms, festive energy and a playful touch of mystery.
Released through Farra Records / Selstar Entertainment, the new single gives the South Texas-based group a seasonal addition to its growing catalog of original music, offering cumbia fans a fresh soundtrack for Halloween parties, fall celebrations and dance-floor playlists.
Built around the unmistakable pulse of cumbia, “Noche de Brujas” embraces the fun and mysterious atmosphere of Halloween while maintaining the lively musical approach that defines Revo Live Band’s sound. The track delivers a festive alternative for listeners looking to bring Latin rhythms to their October celebrations.
The release also reflects the band’s continued effort to expand its original repertoire while connecting with audiences through music that celebrates the energy of live performance and the versatility of cumbia.
Revo Live Band Brings a Diverse Latin Sound to South Texas
Based in South Texas, Revo Live Band has been building its presence in the regional music scene through energetic live performances and a modern approach to cumbia and Latin music. The group continues developing its identity by pairing dance-oriented rhythms with original releases designed to connect with audiences both onstage and through digital platforms.
Founded in 2012 by brothers Sergio “Chex” Lozano and Frank Lozano, Revo Live Band emerged from Brownsville’s vibrant music scene with a sound that blends Tejano, cumbia, rock en español, salsa, bachata, reggaeton, and norteño influences. The group’s versatility and high-energy performances have helped establish its identity as a band that brings a modern, internationally influenced approach to Tejano and Latin music.
The band released its debut album, Bailar Es Mi Vicio, in 2015, earning recognition at the 2016 Tejano Music Awards with nominations for Best New Group and Best New Male Artist for frontman Sergio “Chex” Lozano. The group continued expanding its catalog with original music and creative reinterpretations, including the cumbia-driven “Pobre Diabla” and the original single “Manos Arriba,” which fused up-tempo cumbia with reggaeton.
In 2024, Revo Live Band released Con Sabor, Vol. 1, its third album, featuring 10 tracks that brought together contemporary international sounds, Tejano, cumbia and Regional Mexican influences. That same year, the group received nominations for Best New Group at the 44th annual Tejano Music Awards, while Lozano was nominated for Best New Male Artist. The band also released “Motivos,” an original track highlighting its continued commitment to creating new music.
With “Noche de Brujas,” Revo Live Band continues that creative journey, adding a Halloween-themed original cumbia to a catalog shaped by musical experimentation, dance-floor energy and its South Texas roots.
