There are moments in an artist’s journey that mark the beginning of something new. For Celeste Escobar, that moment has arrived.
Celeste has officially released her debut original song and music video, “Tu Me Ves y Me Ves,” written by Cristina Nancy Acevedo, produced by David Olivarez, and co-produced by David De La Garza. The release introduces audiences to a side of her artistry that is uniquely her own.
With “Tu Me Ves y Me Ves,” Celeste gives listeners a first glimpse into where her musical journey is heading. It is more than simply a debut release—it represents a milestone in the development of an aspiring artist who has already spent nearly a decade performing and continues to grow, learn, and find her place within the music industry.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Celeste is already a seasoned performer. Her powerful vocals and love for music transcend genres, while her sound reflects both versatility and cultural pride. Among her musical influences are legendary artists including Whitney Houston, Vicente Fernández, Ariana Grande, and especially late Tejano icon Selena Quintanilla-Perez.
Celeste’s musical journey began performing at local festivals and community events, where she quickly stood out for her vocal talent and stage presence. Her breakthrough came when she won Buscando Talento con David Olivarez, a regional talent competition hosted by Tejano superstar David Olivarez, who now serves as Latin Division President of Up Above Entertainment.
That victory led to her first record deal and marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her career.
In 2025, Celeste graduated high school and signed with Up Above Entertainment, all while continuing to perform at major events across Texas.
Her performance résumé includes the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo World Championship Bar-B-Que Cook-Off, an event that draws more than 240,000 attendees, as well as the Houston Latin Festival, where she has showcased her charisma, vocal range, and growing presence as a performer.
Under the direction of David Olivarez, Celeste continues to blossom as an artist, gaining valuable experience and recognition as she develops her own musical identity.
Now, with the release of “Tu Me Ves y Me Ves,” Celeste is taking another important step forward.
Currently focused on creating heartfelt, vibrant music that connects with listeners of all ages, she is beginning to introduce audiences to her own artistic voice while carrying with her the Tejano roots and influences that helped shape her musical journey.
Her journey is still being written, but releases like “Tu Me Ves y Me Ves” give fans an opportunity to watch that journey unfold.
“Tu Me Ves y Me Ves” is available for digital download and streaming on digital music platforms, and the official music video is available below.
