After more than 46 years as one of Tejano music’s most celebrated voices, Ram Herrera is opening an exciting new chapter in his storied career. The Tejano icon is set to release his first-ever bilingual country single, “Just One Time,”marking a milestone that blends his deep musical roots with a lifelong passion for country music.

Recorded at Nashville’s legendary Blackbird Studio, “Just One Time” represents the realization of a dream Herrera has pursued for years. Surrounded by some of Nashville’s premier session musicians, the recording showcases a polished country sound while preserving the warmth, sincerity, and unmistakable vocals that have made Herrera one of Tejano music’s most enduring artists.

Throughout a career spanning nearly five decades, Herrera has built a reputation for timeless performances and a willingness to evolve musically without losing the connection to the fans who have supported him since the beginning. With “Just One Time,” he brings together two musical worlds by recording the song in both English and Spanish, introducing his artistry to a broader audience while honoring the heritage that established him as one of Tejano music’s most beloved performers.

“Recording in Nashville has been a dream of mine for many years,” Herrera said. “‘Just One Time’ represents both where I’ve been and where I’m going. It’s an opportunity to honor my roots while sharing a new side of my musical journey with audiences in both English and Spanish.”

Earlier this month, he was honored with his official exhibit induction into the Totally Tejano Hall of Fame & Museum in San Antonio, recognizing his lasting contributions to Tejano music and preserving his legacy for future generations.

A companion music video produced by the ShellShock Records 3 creative team is also expected to premiere shortly after the single’s release, offering fans a visual companion to Herrera’s latest musical venture.
