LAS VEGAS — One of the biggest celebrations of Tejano music and culture returns this week as Vegas Tejano Takeover 2026 welcomes thousands of fans, artists, musicians, and industry professionals to Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino from July 9-12.

Dubbed the “96-Hour Tejano Music Marathon,” the annual gathering has become one of the premier destinations for Tejano music lovers across the country. Now in its 22nd year, the event is expected to attract more than 8,000 attendees for four days packed with live music, dancing, cultural celebrations, reunions, and fan experiences.

Produced by INGEÑUITY, the annual convention features three signature events under one roof: the Tejano America Fanfest Expo, the high-energy Gran Bailes dance concerts, and the popular Vegas Vibe Pool Splash, which officially kicks off the weekend festivities.

“This event is personal because it’s the soundtrack of my life growing up in a small community in Kansas,” said Sarah Ruiz Chávez, founder of Vegas Tejano Takeover and president of INGEÑUITY.

“My dad was a Tejano musician from Kingsville, Texas, who joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Topeka, Kansas. We are proud  that this one-of-a-kind event has become an annual reunion for fans, veterans and their friends and families.”

Ruiz Chávez says the event continues to celebrate the rich heritage of Tejano music while creating lasting memories for generations of fans.
