The recognition celebrates a career spanning more than three decades, during which Intocable has become one of the defining voices in Regional Mexican music while building a global audience through its signature blend of Tejano, Norteño, pop, rock, and cumbia.

“For more than three decades, Intocable has helped shape the sound and global reach of regional Mexican music through their artistry, authenticity, and enduring connection with audiences,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “The Hollywood Walk of Fame is proud to recognize their extraordinary contributions to the recording industry with this well-deserved honor.”

Since forming in the early 1990s, Intocable has sold more than 55 million albums worldwide, earned more than 50 chart entries, and collected multiple GRAMMY AwardsLatin GRAMMY AwardsBillboard Latin Music Awards, and numerous lifetime achievement honors. Their innovative sound has transcended genres while strengthening Mexican-American identity and inspiring generations of musicians and fans.

The Hollywood honor comes as the band continues its successful Cultura Tour 2026, a 24-city trek across the United States, Canada, and Mexico celebrating Intocable’s lasting impact on Latin music and culture. The tour showcases the group’s timeless catalog while highlighting its role as a cultural bridge connecting millions of Latino fans across borders and generations.

The latest milestone follows another landmark year for the band. In 2025, Intocable’s Antología Tour sold out venues throughout Mexico and major U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Memphis, San Diego, San Jose, Las Vegas, Houston, and Anaheim. That same year, frontman Ricardo Muñoz served as an honorary event official for the 2025 NASCAR Chicago Street Race, further demonstrating the band’s influence beyond the music world.

The group’s momentum has continued since celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024 with the release of Modus Operandi, which earned a nomination for Best Norteño Album at the Latin GRAMMY Awards. The album featured “Me Gusta Mi Vida,” which became Intocable’s 21st No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart, making the band the artist with the second-most chart-topping hits in the history of the ranking.

Beyond their commercial success, Intocable has been recognized for its cultural and philanthropic contributions. The group received a proclamation from the Texas Governor’s Office and the Texas House of Representatives honoring its impact on music and culture. The City of San Antonio also named the band “Emissary of the Muses,” a distinction previously bestowed upon internationally acclaimed artists including Bon Jovi, Journey, and Plácido Domingo.

The band also continues its longstanding support of charitable organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the GRAMMY Museum, reflecting a commitment to giving back that has accompanied its decades of musical success.

Now, with a permanent place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Intocable adds another historic achievement to a remarkable legacy—one that continues to elevate Tejano and Regional Mexican music on the world stage while inspiring future generations of artists.
