The fire is officially burning again for Yvonne y Fuego. After stepping away from the spotlight for two years, the award-winning Tejano powerhouse has announced its long-awaited return with the launch of The Comeback Legacy Tour, marking a brand-new era for one of the Midwest’s most celebrated Latin music groups.
Known for their electrifying live performances and genre-blending sound, the Toledo-based band is set to reignite stages with the same passion, energy, and rhythm that helped build a loyal fanbase across the country. The tour celebrates not only their comeback, but also the enduring connection between the band and the Tejano music community.
“Two years was too long, but the fire never went out,” the band shared in a statement announcing their return. “Yvonne y Fuego is officially back! We’ve missed the magic of the stage and the love from our fans.”
The highly anticipated kickoff show takes place Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the International Event Center in Toledo, Ohio. Fans can expect a night packed with high-energy performances, nonstop dancing, and unforgettable moments as the band launches the next chapter of its legacy. Joining the celebration are special guests Motivo and DJ AB Ramos, who will keep the energy flowing throughout the night.
Doors open at 7 p.m. with showtime beginning at 8 p.m. Admission is $15 before 8 p.m. and $20 afterward.
Led by powerhouse vocalist Yvonne Ramos-Ybarra, the group has earned widespread recognition for seamlessly blending traditional Tejano and cumbia rhythms with influences from R&B, jazz, rock, and metal. Their unique musical approach helped them stand out nationally following a breakout appearance at the 2015 Tejano Music Fan Fair in San Antonio.
That same year, Ramos-Ybarra captured the prestigious Best New Female Artist honor at the 35th Tejano Music Awards, solidifying the group’s place among Tejano music’s rising stars.
The band continued its momentum with the release of their debut album Nosotros in 2015 and sophomore album Aqui Estoy in 2016. Fan-favorite tracks including “Baila,” “Mi Todo,” and “Muero Sin Ti” remain staples on streaming platforms and dance floors.
Now, with The Comeback Legacy Tour, Yvonne y Fuego is ready to remind fans why their music has continued to resonate long after their hiatus.
“This tour represents more than a return to performance,” the band said. “It represents a legacy renewed and an open invitation to fans, old and new, to come together and make history.”
For longtime supporters and new listeners, the message is clear: the stage may have gone dark for a moment, but the fire never truly went out.
