Award-winning Norteño/Tejano artist Lucky Joe is kicking off summer in full party mode with the release of “La Cervecita,” an infectious new collaboration featuring Houston rapper, producer, and comedian Chingo Bling.
The high-energy single marks the fourth release from Lucky Joe’s latest album, Canciones del Corazón, a project that has already produced fan-favorite hits including “A.M.O.,” “Te Voy A Superar,” and “Que Te Vaya Mal.” But with “La Cervecita,” Lucky Joe leans into a fresh fusion of traditional cumbia rhythms and modern hip-hop swagger, delivering what may become one of the season’s ultimate backyard party anthems.
Written by Lucky Joe, Chingo Bling, and engineer Mariano Herrera, the track blends catchy hooks, celebratory lyrics, and undeniable summer energy built for barbecues, family gatherings, and late-night carne asadas.
According to Lucky Joe, the collaboration with Chingo Bling came together naturally — and surprisingly fast.
“Honestly, when we did the song in the studio, I was talking with Mariano, and he said this would be a perfect collab with his friend Chingo Bling,” Lucky Joe shared with Tejano Nation Radio host Romeo. “He sent it to him, and like 30 minutes later, Chingo sent it back with vocals and lyrics that fit perfect with the vibe.”
That instant chemistry helped elevate the song into something bigger than just a party track.
“It was a different energy when he sent that track,” Lucky Joe added. “He made the song feel more authentic and relatable. It’s a summer vibe, but it’s also about enseñar nuestra cultura—showing our culture.”
That cultural pride takes center stage in the music video, filmed at Delta Lake Park in the Rio Grande Valley. The visuals capture a true community celebration filled with dancing, grilling, ice chests, families, and friends enjoying the moment together.
“We had about 120 to 150 people show up,” Lucky Joe said. “People brought their pits, their families, and just enjoyed the moment. That’s what this song is about—turning on the grill, playing some jams, and enjoying life with your people.”

At its core, “La Cervecita” is designed to be a feel-good sing-along. Lyrics like “Dame una cerveza para sentirme bien” and “Pásame una cheve que quiero pistear” invite listeners to unwind, celebrate responsibly, and embrace the joy of togetherness.
“It’s a party song,” Lucky Joe emphasized. “It’s about enjoying life and celebrating with your people. We want fans to feel that energy and connect with their cultura.”
With its upbeat cumbia groove, cross-genre appeal, and authentic celebration of community and culture, “La Cervecita” is poised to soundtrack summer parties across both sides of the border.
