Freddie Records is turning up the heat just in time for summer with the release of “La Cervecita,” the electrifying new single from award-winning Norteño/Tejano artist Lucky Joe, featuring Houston rapper, producer, and comedian Chingo Bling. The highly anticipated collaboration officially impacts Regional Mexican and Tejano radio today, May 6, and is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

Hailing from Edcouch, Texas, Lucky Joe continues his impressive run with “La Cervecita,” the fourth single from his latest album Canciones del Corazón. The project has already delivered multiple fan favorites and chart-topping hits, including “A.M.O.,” “Te Voy A Superar,” and “Que Te Vaya Mal.” With this newest release, Lucky Joe taps into a vibrant fusion of traditional cumbia rhythms and modern hip-hop energy, creating a feel-good anthem built for parties, barbecues, and family gatherings.
Written by Lucky Joe, Chingo Bling, and engineer Mariano Herrera, the track showcases a seamless blend of styles that highlights each artist’s unique strengths. Produced by Lucky Joe and executive produced by The Martinez Brothers—Freddie Martinez Jr., John Martinez, and Marc Martinez—the single carries the signature polish fans have come to expect from Freddie Records. The song was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi, Texas, further cementing its high-quality production.
According to Lucky Joe, the collaboration with Chingo Bling came together organically—and fast.
“Honestly, when we did the song in the studio, I was talking with Mariano, and he said this would be a perfect collab with his friend Chingo Bling,” Lucky Joe shared with Tejano Nation Radio host Romeo. “He sent it to him, and like 30 minutes later, Chingo sent it back with vocals and lyrics that fit perfect with the vibe.”
The result is a track that radiates energy and authenticity, something Lucky Joe says was elevated by Chingo Bling’s contribution.
“It was a different energy when he sent that track,” he added. “He made the song feel more authentic and relatable. It’s a summer vibe, but it’s also about enseñar nuestra cultura—showing our culture.”
That cultural pride is front and center not only in the song but also in its upcoming music video. Filmed at Delta Lake Park in the Rio Grande Valley, the video captures a true community celebration, complete with families, barbecues, dancing, and ice chests filled with cold beverages.
“We had about 120 to 150 people show up,” Lucky Joe said. “People brought their pits, their families, and just enjoyed the moment. That’s what this song is about—turning on the grill, playing some jams, and enjoying life with your people.”

Set to premiere Friday, May 8, exclusively on YouTube via FreddieRecordsTV, the video promises to bring that festive атмосфера to life, highlighting the spirit of togetherness that defines the track.
At its core, “La Cervecita” is a simple, catchy, and infectious sing-along. With lyrics like “Dame una cerveza para sentirme bien” and “Pásame una cheve que quiero pistear,” the song invites listeners to let loose, celebrate responsibly, and embrace the joy of the moment.
“It’s a party song,” Lucky Joe emphasized. “It’s about enjoying life and celebrating with your people. We want fans to feel that energy and connect with their cultura.”
With its upbeat rhythm, cross-genre appeal, and undeniable summer vibe, “La Cervecita” is poised to become a staple on playlists and at gatherings across the U.S. and Mexico.
