San Antonio is preparing for one of its biggest Cinco de Mayo celebrations of the year, bringing together tradition, culture, and a powerhouse night of live entertainment at Cowboys Dancehall.
The highly anticipated event promises a full-scale concert experience, kicking off when doors open at 7 p.m. Fans will be welcomed with live mariachi performances, setting a rich cultural tone before the night transitions into a high-energy showcase of Tejano and Latin music.
Adding fresh excitement to the lineup is rising Latin artist Mariangela, who will open the show. Known for her vibrant sound and growing buzz, Mariangela is expected to set the pace early and energize the crowd.
The evening will be hosted by Houston personality Lala, keeping the momentum flowing throughout the night. Music between sets will be handled by DJ Aftermath, while Bumper Gomez will be on the floor engaging fans and elevating the atmosphere.
Headlining the night is Tejano favorite Alicia Villarreal, who will take center stage performing the hits that have defined her celebrated career. Joining her is Tejano standout Michael Salgado, adding depth and tradition to a lineup that reflects the enduring strength of the genre.
During a recent interview on Tejano 95.7 FM with morning host Jonny Ramirez, Salgado shared his excitement about returning to the Alamo City for the special occasion.
“It’s been a while since we performed in San Antonio,” Salgado said. “But what better day than Cinco de Mayo? We want to invite everybody to come out… we’ve got a little bit of a surprise at the beginning of my show for everybody.”
Interest in the event continues to surge as ticket demand builds. VIP tables are nearly sold out, and general admission tickets are moving quickly—signaling a strong turnout for what is shaping up to be one of San Antonio’s standout Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
