Grupo Siggno has officially unveiled key details surrounding their upcoming album Su Legado 1938, one of the most anticipated releases in the genre this year. The 13-track project is set to drop on May 1 across streaming platforms, with pre-saves now available.
The album features a collection of new material, including previously released favorites like “Si Me Ves Cantando,” “Vuela Madrecita,” and “Traté De Olvidarte, Hasta La Cima Del Cielo,” the latter featuring Solido. Adding to the excitement, the group has also released a brand-new single, “Se Rompió,” now available on digital platforms including iTunes.
Beyond the music, Su Legado 1938 carries a deeply personal story for frontman Jesse Turner. The album was created during an emotional chapter in his life following the passing of his mother in August. Turner revealed that he turned to songwriting as a way to process grief in the days leading up to her funeral.
“I went into the studio and I wrote a bunch of songs because I didn’t want to be home and I didn’t want to be sad,” Turner shared during an interview with The Bo Corona Show. “So I finished the album during that time. I sang before my mom was buried, and I wrote her a song.”
That raw and vulnerable period became the emotional foundation of Su Legado 1938, which serves as a tribute to his mother and her lasting influence. The album’s cover art reinforces that connection, featuring a touching image of Turner alongside his mother—already resonating deeply with fans and those close to the project.
Known for their signature blend of norteño and Tejano sounds, Grupo Siggno continues to evolve while staying rooted in heartfelt storytelling. With its powerful backstory and strong lineup of songs, Su Legado 1938 is shaping up to be one of the most meaningful and impactful releases of the year.
Fans can pre-save the album now ahead of its May 1 release and stream the new single “Se Rompió” today.
