Elida Reyna y Avante (EYA) have announced that Tejano legend Elsa Garcia will be part of the highly anticipated Grand Finale Concert of their Farewell Tour, taking place December 12, 2025, at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. The two-time Latin Grammy–winning group continues to roll out weekly guest announcements leading up to the final show — and this latest one has fans buzzing.
Garcia performed with EYA during their farewell stop in the Rio Grande Valley last month, delivering an unforgettable moment that left audiences wanting more. Elida Reyna says bringing Garcia back for the finale was an easy choice.
“She’s back!!!!!!! The incomparable ‘La Primera Dama’ ELSA GARCIA..! After an unforgettable night at the Bert Ogden Arena, we’re thrilled to bring her back for a final, unforgettable performance at the Majestic Theater.”
The powerhouse roster for the Grand Finale already includes Michael Salgado, Jesse Turner of Grupo Siggno, Lucky Joe, and Campanas De America — promising fans an all-star celebration worthy of EYA’s remarkable 34-year touring career.
Reyna, the most awarded artist in Tejano Music Awards history with 42 career wins, says the night will be more than just a farewell concert. It will be a “homecoming.” She reflected on why San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre was the only choice for her final bow.
“I chose San Antonio because it is here that I stepped into the spotlight back in 1994 at the Tejano Music Awards for the very first time, and it is here, at the iconic Majestic Theatre, that I will take the stage one last time,” Reyna shared.
“This is proof that if you have tireless work ethic, the will to never give up and, most importantly, the ‘songs’ to carry a career, you can live out a childhood dream and perform on a stage you thought you could never reach. As I step away, I hope my songs continue to inspire and motivate future generations. As I close this chapter, we’d love to see our ‘EYA’ fans one last time Friday, December 12th for an unforgettable night.”

Reyna’s Tejano journey began with her electrifying 1994 performance of “Luna Llena” before a crowd of 50,000 — a defining moment that launched one of the genre’s most respected and influential voices. Over three decades, EYA delivered beloved hits including “Duele,” “Te Sigo Amando,” and many more, solidifying their place in Tejano music history.
Their final performance is expected to be emotional, celebratory, and truly historic for generations of fans who have followed the group for more than 30 years.
