San Antonio, TX — The spirit of Tejano music and community service will come together in powerful harmony at the upcoming Tejanos Unidos Thanksgiving Food Drive Concert, presented by Jenny B and Thrive Ent. Set for Sunday, November 16 from 4 PM to 9 PM at Jaime’s Place (1514 W Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78207), this vibrant event invites fans to enjoy live performances while supporting families in need during the holiday season.
A Star-Studded Lineup with Heart
Headlining the concert is Jenny B, whose debut album Mujer Sensual has been making waves across the Tejano scene. With her chart-rising hit “Pobre Tonto” and a style that fuses traditional Tejano with modern pop, Jenny B is widely expected to earn a nomination for Best New Female Artist at the upcoming 45th Tejano Music Awards in Katy, Texas.
Also taking the stage is LLAMATIVA, an electrifying all-female 8-piece Chicana/Latina band whose genre-blending sound—spanning Cumbia, Salsa, Tejano, Chacha, Bolero, and Baladas—celebrates cultural heritage with unmatched energy and style.
Fans will also be treated to a meet and greet with Tejano legend Ricardo Castillon of La Diferenzia, whose iconic hits like “Linda Chaparrita,” “Mundo Sin Guitarras,” and “Si Lo Quieres” defined the genre in the 1990s. Their latest album Renacimiento del Phoenix marks a fiery return, staying true to the heartfelt lyrics and signature sound that continue to resonate across generations.
Adding to the musical feast are the Conjunto Cats, a powerhouse family ensemble from Seguin, Texas, led by Art Campos and his sons. Their dedication to preserving and sharing the cultural sound of Conjunto music makes them a beloved staple in the regional music scene.
Keeping the energy flowing between sets will be DJ Aftermath, spinning Tejano favorites and Latin rhythms to keep the crowd moving.
Entry with a Purpose
Admission to the concert is a donation of one bag filled with non-perishable food or a minimum of $10 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank. It’s a chance for the Tejano community to come together not just in celebration, but in solidarity and support.
This event is made possible by Jaime’s Place, Thrive Ent, and the San Antonio Food Bank, with a shared mission to uplift the community through music and meaningful action.
Let the rhythm of Tejano music inspire generosity this Thanksgiving. Join the movement, bring your donations, and be part of a night that promises unforgettable performances and heartfelt impact.
