The excitement continues to build for the 45th Annual Tejano Music Awards, as the Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) has announced that Ram Herrera and Monica Saldivar have joined the star-studded performance lineup for this year’s milestone celebration. The highly anticipated event will take place at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, Texas, on Friday, November 21, 2025.
The newly announced performers join a growing list of talented acts including Lucky Joe, Da Krazy Pimpz, David Olivarez, The Homeboyz, and El Plan, further fueling anticipation for a night that promises to honor Tejano’s rich legacy while spotlighting its bright and evolving future.

Known as “The Outlaw” of Tejano music, Ram Herrera began his legendary career in the early 1980s as the powerhouse vocalist for David Lee Garza y Los Musicales before launching a successful solo journey with his band The Outlaws. His gold-certified 1986 debut album Most Wanted Man and the 1989 classic The Outlaw cemented his place as one of Tejano’s most influential voices. Over the years, Herrera has earned Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations, multiple Tejano Music Awards, and delivered chart-topping hits that remain staples of the genre.
Joining Herrera on stage is Monica Saldivar, a three-time Tejano Music Awards winner, celebrated for her powerful vocals and dynamic performances. Saldivar has captivated audiences nationwide with her distinctive blend of traditional Tejano roots and modern flair, representing the next generation of artists shaping the future of the genre.
Adding even more excitement to the celebration, comedian Alex Reymundo will host the prestigious awards show, bringing his signature humor and charisma to what’s known as the “Biggest Night in Tejano Music.”
This year’s event marks a major milestone and a new chapter for the historic awards show — moving from its longtime home in San Antonio, the “Tejano Music Capital of the World,” to Katy, Texas, for the first time in many years. Fans can expect an unforgettable evening filled with live performances, emotional tributes, and special collaborations honoring both Tejano legends and rising stars.
The evening will kick off with a red carpet event from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m. Tables for the event sold out in less than 72 hours, but general admission tickets are still available.
