The excitement continues to build for the 45th Annual Tejano Music Awards, as the Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) has added David Olivarez and The Homeboyz to the performance lineup for this year’s milestone celebration. The event will take place at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, Texas, on Friday, November 21, 2025.
The newly announced performers join previously revealed acts Lucky Joe and Da Krazy Pimpz, further fueling anticipation for a night that promises to honor Tejano’s legacy while spotlighting its bright future.
David Olivarez, affectionately known as “El Tejano Soñador,” has made his mark in both Tejano and Regional Mexican music with his heartfelt performances and soulful voice. The Tejano ROOTS Hall of Famer’s distinctive sound blends traditional regional Mexican influences with modern elements, creating music that resonates with a wide audience. Known for stirring emotional depth and authenticity through his songs, Olivarez continues to connect deeply with fans across generations.

Also taking the stage are The Homeboyz, an award-winning Conjunto group composed of former members of The Hometown Boys. The band made an impressive debut by winning Best New Group at the 2022 Tejano Music Awards, and their lineup includes Elias Arredondo, the 2022 Best New Male Artist. Known for their powerful traditional Conjunto sound and hit singles, The Homeboyz bring an energetic, crowd-pleasing performance style that’s become a fan favorite.

Adding even more excitement to the evening, comedian Alex Reymundo will host the prestigious event, bringing his signature humor and charm to what is known as the “Biggest Night in Tejano Music.”
This year marks a major milestone and a new chapter for the historic awards show — moving from its long-time home in San Antonio, the “Tejano Music Capital of the World,” to Katy, Texas, for the first time in many years. Fans can look forward to an unforgettable evening filled with live performances, emotional tributes, and special collaborations honoring Tejano legends and the next generation of stars.
The evening will begin with a red carpet event from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m.Tables for the event sold out in less than 72 hours, but general admission tickets are still available.
