Two of the biggest names in Tejano music are each nearing the end of their farewell tours this year—but before they say goodbye to the stage, they’re sharing their stories together. This Sunday, Bobby Pulido and Elida Reyna will take over Domingo Live for a special edition of the long-running Tejano television show.
Co-hosts Rudy Treviño and Barbi Leo will guide fans through each artist’s remarkable career with rare vintage footage, their greatest hits, and more. The show that Tejano fans know and love airs Sunday at 10 a.m. CT on KIII 3 News in Corpus Christi and streams live on the 3 News Plus app.

The episode comes at a meaningful moment for both stars. Bobby Pulido is currently on his Por La Puerta Grande farewell tour, marking the end of his 30-year career that earned him a Latin Grammy and iconic hits like “Desvelado” and “Le Pedire.” The celebrated singer-songwriter announced earlier this year that he will retire from music following the tour, leaving behind a legacy that helped define modern Tejano. He plans to run for public office in 2026.
Meanwhile, Elida Reyna y Avante are also nearing the end of their own farewell journey, with only five shows left on a tour that closes the book on Elida’s 34-year career. The two-time Latin Grammy winner has been one of the most beloved and influential female voices in Tejano music, known for her powerhouse vocals and heartfelt lyrics that have inspired generations.
For both artists, Domingo Live provides a fitting stage for reflection and celebration. The program has long been a vital platform for showcasing Tejano talent and preserving cultural traditions, continuing its legacy as a cornerstone of the community.
Airing every Sunday morning, Domingo Live has been a staple in the Tejano music scene for decades, featuring live performances, interviews, and tributes that highlight the genre’s past, present, and future. With Rudy Treviño’s broadcasting expertise and Barbi Leo’s vibrant energy, the show remains a must-watch for fans across Texas and beyond.
Don’t miss this special episode of Domingo Live—Sunday at 10 a.m. CT on KIII-TV and streaming online at kiiitv.com—as Tejano legends Bobby Pulido and Elida Reyna come together to celebrate their incredible journeys and the music that made history.
