Arriving just in time for the band’s 40th anniversary, RAÍCES marks a milestone in a career that has spanned four decades and captivated generations of Tejano music lovers.
Featuring 12 brand new tracks, including the powerful lead single “Ayúdame,” RAÍCES is both a celebration and a reflection. The album honors La Fiebre’s legacy while boldly stepping into new musical territory. “We try to give you the traditional Fiebre, but also introduce some of the new ideas we’ve come out with,” the band shared during a recent interview on Tejano Nation Radio. “It’s fun music. We’re always experimenting.”
The lineup for RAÍCES showcases the band’s strong chemistry and enduring spirit. Founding members Luis Ayala, Rudy Rocha, and Joe Angel Reynosa continue to lead the charge, joined by talented musicians like Jonas Flores, Julian Gonzalez, Joe Lara, and dynamic vocalist J Angel Cantu.
“You become a family after that many years. You are family,” Ayala told Domingo Live, emphasizing the deep bond that has kept La Fiebre united since their early days.
