In addition to her work in the studio, Shelly serves as Music Coordinator at Harmony Hospice Care of San Antonio, where she uses her talents to bring comfort and joy to those in need. Her passion for music continues to enrich lives, not only through her recordings but also through her support of others in the Tejano music community.
Shelly’s dedication to her craft and her community was recently recognized when she received the Celestial Award in Music from the Women in Film and Television San Antonio (WIFTSA) this week. The award honors her contributions to music, her dedication to the arts, and her inspiring role as a female trailblazer in Tejano music.
