
Legendary Tejano supergroup La Mafia received special recognition for their international musical career at the Latino Show Music Conference and Awards 2023, held at the Movistar Arena de Bogota in Bogota, Colombia, on October 10, 2023.
The group, formed in 1980 in Houston, Texas, has been one of the most influential and successful Tejano bands in history, with more than 40 albums and numerous awards, including two Grammys and three Latin Grammys. La Mafia has also transcended the borders of the United States and Mexico, reaching audiences in Central and South America, Europe, and Asia.
The Latino Show Music Conference and Awards 2023 is an annual event that celebrates the diversity and excellence of Latin music, featuring conferences, workshops, showcases, and awards. The event gathers artists, producers, executives, media, influencers, and fans from all over the world.
La Mafia was honored with special recognition for their international musical career and the group’s contribution to the Latin music industry and culture.
La Mafia continues to be active and relevant in the music scene, releasing new songs and touring around the world. They released their new single “Momento Para Enamorar” last month.
