Stefani Montiel teased her fans with a snippet of her new single “Kissitos” on social media. The teaser video gives a glimpse of the song that will officially be released on Monday, October 16, 2023.
Stefani commented on the teaser video, “I can’t wait for you to hear it!”
“Kissitos” follows the release of “Mis Favoritas, Vol. 1”, an album of classic Tejano songs that Montiel recorded to celebrate her 30-year career in the music industry. The two-time Hall of Fame inductee said that the album was a tribute to her fans and her musical influences.
Montiel is one of the most versatile and accomplished singers in Tejano music, with a repertoire that spans from cumbia and ranchera to pop and R&B. She has won multiple awards, inducted into the Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame and New Mexico Music Hall of Fame, and has collaborated with artists such as Shelly Lares, Elida Reyna, La Calma, and many more.
