If you are a fan of Monica Saldivar, you will be happy to know that the award-winning Tejano singer is working on a new single with none other than Bobby Pulido as the producer. The song is titled “En Realidad” and it is scheduled for release on Friday, August 25.
Saldivar shared a teaser of the song on her Instagram account on Monday, August 21. She wrote: “I’m so excited to announce that this Friday my new single, ‘En Realidad’ comes out on all digital platforms, and also that this track is produced by the incredible Bobby Pulido.”
The teaser features Saldivar’s powerful vocals and sounds like a potential hit for the rising Tejano star, who has already won several accolades for her previous albums.
Saldivar and Pulido have been collaborating in the studio since June when they posted photos of their session on social media. Pulido is a Tejano icon who has won a Latin Grammy Award for his album Para Que Baile En Mi Pueblo. He has also produced songs for other artists, such as South TX Homies.
Saldivar released her full-length sophomore album Soy Mas Fuerte (Deluxe Edition) in May 2022. It followed her Soy Mas Fuerte EP released in June 2021 and her self-titled debut album in 2019. She was named Top New Female Artist at the My Tejano Awards in 2019 and Best New Female Artist of the Year at the 40th Tejano Music Awards in 2020.
