The Tejano Music Awards are the most prestigious awards in the Tejano music genre, honoring the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the year. The ceremony will be held at the Boeing Center at Tech Port + Arena, a new state-of-the-art venue. The show will feature amazing performances by some of the biggest names in Tejano music, as well as a showcase of new talent.
The nominees for the awards will be announced soon, and Tejano industry professionals can vote online now with the release of the Industry Ballot today — including record labels, media, artists, and management — to vote for artists to be named nominees for the upcoming awards show, produced by the Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA). The deadline to vote on the Industry Ballot is midnight (12:00 a.m.) on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at TejanoMusicAwards.com for those qualified to vote. Questions can be directed via email to binog@tejanomusicawards.com.

Some of the past winners include legends like Selena, Emilio Navaira, Shelly Lares, Jay Perez, and many more. The awards also recognize the lifetime achievements of artists who have made a major impact on the genre, such as Gilbert Velasquez and Roman Martinez, who founded The Hometown Boys.
