Award-winning Tejano singer Monica Saldivar is currently recording in the studio with Tejano icon Bobby Pulido as producer. Saldivar shared photos of their studio session via social media on Thursday (June 1).
The “Infraganti” singer captioned the photos on Instagram with “In the studio with Bobby Pulido and Chava. Working on something new…stay tuned!”
Salidvar released her full-length sophomore album Soy Mas Fuerte (Deluxe Edition) in May 2022. It followed her Soy Mas Fuerte EP released in June 2021 and her self-titled debut album in 2019 that earned her Top New Female Artist at the My Tejano Awards in 2019 and Best New Female Artist of the Year at the 40th Tejano Music Awards in 2020.
Pulido won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Tejano Album last fall for his Para Que Baile En Mi Pueblo EP, released last year. He also recently produced a few songs for the Latin Grammy-nominated Conjunto band South TX Homies including the hit song “Pena Tras Pena.”
