La Machy premieres music video for spicy cumbia ‘Tu Novia’

La Machy premiered the official music video for her spicy cumbia “Tu Novia” this week. The original song is the latest single as a solo artist for the musician, singer, songwriter, and founder of the Grammy-nominated international cumbia band La Conquista.

“It’s a story about a guy that all the girls want this guy and this girl is like, ‘I’m going to be the wife, I’m going to be the girlfriend,” La Machy tells Tejano Nation. “I’m going to be the one to have this guy and the other girls are going to be wishing that they have that man. So it’s kind of like a spicy type of song.”

La Machy takes on both roles in the music video, portraying the good bride and toxic bride for the cumbia produced and written by Machy, SmokeBeatz, and 2 Swift.

“Tu Novia” from La Machy is available to stream or download on all digital music platforms.
