Award-winning singing sensation Madison Pulido premiered the music video for her latest hit “Cosquillearte,” on Memorial Day, the same day as the All-Star Music Awards in San Antonio, Texas. The young singer was nominated for Best Album of the Year for her debut album, Simplemente, and Song of the Year for “Mirate A Ti.”
The “Cosquillearte” video is the second visual released from her debut album. The track reached the top spot on the Mas Chingon Radio countdown four weeks in a row, a driving force behind a video release for the song.
The visual, directed by Lawrence Casarez and produced by Latina Music, was filmed in San Angelo, Texas.
Lorenzo Lopez composed all the songs for Pulido’s Simplemente album, which was produced by Brando Mireles Jr., a former musician of Grupo Mazz. The fusion of sound for “Cosquillearte” was inspired by Mireles’ touring days in California, adding a west coast melody and vibe to his flare of Tejano.
Pulido shared her experience working with these two veterans for her debut album. About Lopez, she said, “It is such an honor to be able to project my voice through the beautiful stories he wrote for this album.” As for Mireles, the singer added, “It was an honor to work with ‘the’ Brando Mireles Jr and if you know Tejano, then you know Brando. It was so much fun getting to watch the music come to life and that she learned so much!”
Michelle Garcia, Madison’s mom, manager, and owner of Latina Music, revealed the video is about a dream where a person really wants to meet Madison and wants to “Cosquillearte,” which means to tickle, hug or touch, but at the end of the video, the person wakes up only to realize that it was just a dream.

“It’s so exciting getting to watch myself grow, but also to be able to share my growth with my supporters,” said Pulido. “I am extremely excited for them to see the video! It was a blast filming this video. My team, the videographer, and I all worked together so well and smoothly and we all critiqued the clips and ideas as we filmed. It was a very fun experience and we’re all very satisfied with the final cut with everything.”
Madison Pulido’s debut album, Simplemente, is available to stream or download at all digital music platforms or purchase the CD at local music stores like Janie’s Record Shop and Del Bravo Record Shop in San Antonio, Texas.
