A 10-year-old singing sensation from Arizona has joined Q Productions and released the new single “El Jardin,” produced by Abraham Quintanilla. The young vocalist has impressed Tejano music fans with her powerful voice including Chris Perez, during an impromptu performance for the husband of the late Tejano music icon Selena in Las Vegas, Nevada, last summer.
Mariapaula shared her excitement about the news in a statement on social media. “Wow. I don’t have enough words to express my feelings about this dream come true working with Abraham Quintanilla, father of Selena Quintanilla,” she said. “We were both working together to make this beautiful song a reality. Thank you for everything Mr. Q, I’m so blessed to be able to have the opportunity for you to support me to continue working on my career.”

“I hope you enjoy this beautiful song, it wouldn’t be possible without the support I get from each and every one of you,” added Mariapaula. “I’m so happy to share what the future holds, we have a lot of surprises coming!”
The mariachi-style song was written by a friend of Abraham Quintanilla based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and displays Mariapaula’s powerful voice.
Mr. Quintanilla tells Tejano Nation that Mariapaula “has a great future” and she is an addition to the Q Productions roster of female artists. “She is only 10 years old and Q Productions will try to develop her musical career,” he said.
“El Jardin” from Mariapaula is available to stream or download on all digital music platforms.
