
TidalWave Comics has developed a new expanded version of the Selena comic book for their Tribute line of comic books. Tribute: Selena will be released this week in time for her birthday on April 16.
Written by Michael Frizell with art by Ramon Salas, this 32-page comic book is available both digitally and in print and can be found on multiple platforms such as Amazon.
The new edition features never seen images as well as a new cover by famed comic book artist Joe Paradise. The publisher will be releasing a Spanish version of the book same date as the English comic book.





Selena Quintanilla is arguably one of the brightest performers of the 1980s and 1990s. Her popularity has surged recently, driven by her strong vocals and incredible stage performances. In honor of Selena Quintanilla’s birthday, TidalWave Comics is releasing a new version of their popular nonfiction comic, Tribute: Selena. The comic book celebrates her life and the mark she left in this world.
“The Tribute line of comic books tells the stories of the classic entertainers that have passed on,” said Darren G. Davis, TidalWave publisher. “It is a way for us to honor these people who have made a difference in the world.
TidalWave has profiled people for more than twelve years using the unique storytelling properties of comic books.
