Houston, TX — Latin GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Juan Treviño reached the top spot of the Lopez Broadcasting Network Top 20 songs of the week with “Me Enamoré De Un Ángel” for the week of April 10-16, 2022. The Country/Tex-Mex version of the Los Palominos hit was written by Treviño in 2008.
“I’m honored to hear that radio listeners are enjoying this version of mine and truly grateful to Lopez Broadcasting and all their staff for the support with my music,” commented Treviño from his recording studio in Houston.
The Lopez Broadcasting Top 20 songs are curated from airplay on the family of Tejano and Conjunto stations in San Antonio, Houston, El Paso, Corpus Christi, and Victoria.

The track features GRAMMY-nominated violinist Suemy Gonzalez, which was co-produced by Treviño and Latin music executive Carlos Alvarez.
“It was his idea to add the violin in it and it took it a whole other way with that country feel,” Treviño tells Tejano Nation. “I’m really happy with the outcome. It’s different from when Los Palominos recorded it in 2008.”
Treviño has written many hit songs for some of the biggest names in Tejano music including Elida Reyna Y Avante, Jay Perez, David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales, and Siggno, to name just a few. Most of which are romantic love songs.
“I’m a romantic at heart so I love ballads and just listen to singer-songwriter’s music,” said Treviño. “I’m always listening to different styles and genres and I guess it shows up on my music and this is the outcome. It’s just a fresh sound for me.”
This track will be part of Treviño’s Acoustic Sessions EP of the same concept which is set for a mid-May release.
