SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Felix Roberto Juarez, a 52-year-old San Antonio country music singer and songwriter who performs under the stage name Felix Truvere, has been listed in Bexar County central magistrate records on a first-degree felony charge of possession of child pornography.

The charge stems from an investigation by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD). According to an arrest warrant affidavit, detectives discovered digital files depicting the sexual abuse of children while reviewing data obtained from an Apple iCloud account associated with Juarez.

The affidavit states that investigators originally seized Juarez’s cellphone and obtained a search warrant for his iCloud account in August 2026 as part of a separate investigation involving allegations of invasive visual recording.

On October 7, 2026, an investigator reviewing the account’s contents allegedly discovered more than 50 videos and multiple images depicting the sexual abuse of prepubescent children.

According to the affidavit, Juarez declined to provide authorities with the passcode to his cellphone but provided the email address associated with the iCloud account where investigators allegedly found the material.

The allegations outlined in the affidavit form the basis of the criminal case. The charge is an accusation, not a finding of guilt.

Who Is Felix Truvere?

Juarez performs under the name Felix Truvere and has built a career as a Texas country music artist, singer and songwriter based in San Antonio.

His musical style draws on regional Texas country traditions, with conjunto influences reflected in his performances and original material. Over a career spanning multiple decades, Truvere has performed at regional venues.

His recorded releases include The Open Road (2014) and Learn to Be (2018). His repertoire also includes regional songs such as “Back to San Antone” and “Beaches of Balli Park.”

Truvere’s musical career and the criminal allegations are separate matters. The charge reported in Bexar County records concerns the allegations described in the SAPD investigation.

Under Texas law, Juarez is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. The allegations must be established through the legal process, and the charge itself does not constitute a conviction.
