
Award-winning actress, singer, producer, and businesswoman Lucía Méndez returns to the stage after nearly two years as part of the “DIVAS” concert tour to be performed live in the U.S. starting in the state of Texas.
The Diva from Mexico, featuring hits like “Mi Amor Amor”, “Corazón de Piedra” and “Enamorada,” will perform with the talented voices of Rocío Banquells, Dulce and Manoella Torres in El Paso on July 22, in San Antonio on July 23, in McAllen on July 24 and in Houston on July 25. The star of “Colorina” and “Mariaelena” arrives on this tour preceded by the great success of her most recent songs: “Mi México“ in which she highlights the values, traditions and folklore of her country; “Se Acabó tu Fiesta,” popular for its catchy rhythm; and “Un Alma en Pena” (2020) where it relaunches the theme of “El Extraño Retorno de Diana Salazar”.
The Queen of Telenovelas just concluded the first season of “Lucía Méndez Presenta” through her YouTube channel LuciaMendezTV, in which she reinvents herself and shows her undeniable talent for conducting interviews with figures from the entertainment world. In addition to the artistic field, Lucía has also succeeded as a businesswoman with her line of perfumes “Vivir by Lucía Méndez”.
Lucía Méndez began her career as an actress and singer in the 1970s. She recorded her first album with rancheras by Juan Gabriel, entitled “Siempre Estoy Pensando en Ti”, and filmed her first novela by Angélica María in “Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse.” Today, her brilliant career includes 31 hit songs, 25 telenovelas, which have been seen around the world, including in countries such as Italy, Russia, Africa and China, and participated in dozens of plays and films featuring actors like Cantinflas and Anthony Quinn.
Lucía Méndez is not only an artistic icon, but a talented, versatile and successful woman, who remains a force after career of more than four decades, leaving her mark on television, film, theater and music, and recording songs by composers and iconic figures such as Juan Gabriel and Camilo Sesto, produced by figures such as Rafael Pérez Botija, Honorio Herrero, and Kiko Campos, among others.
