MIAMI, FL -– (LATINX NEWSWIRE) — Global music leader Billboard announced its return to Miami for Billboard Latin Music Week under the slogan “The Beat of Latin Music.” Billboard Latin Music Week, a celebration of Latin music, culture and entertainment, will be hosted at the Faena Forum in Miami September 20-25, 2021. This year’s highly-anticipated blowout will welcome Latin’s top hitmakers, actors, influencers and industry leaders for one-of-a-kind performances, panels, conversations, workshops and showcases.
For over 30 years, Billboard Latin Music Week has been the longest-running and biggest Latin music industry gathering in the world, uniting generations of talent with fans, and garnering billions of press hits, engagements and viewership globally.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring the world’s biggest celebration of Latin music, Billboard Latin Music Week, back to Miami,” said Julian Holguin, President of Billboard. “After a trying year, both artists and fans are eager to engage in music’s unique ability to represent diverse voices and bring people together. We know that this year’s festivities will encourage attendees and viewers to experience Latin culture, revel in generation-defining music and connect with one another like never before.”
“We are immensely proud to bring the first live and face-to-face industry event since the advent of the pandemic last year,” said Leila Cobo, VP, Latin Industry Lead, Billboard. “Billboard Latin Music Week is the biggest and longest-running Latin music event in the world, and a tentpole for the Billboard brand and the Latin community. Celebrating our Latin culture and music safely alongside fans and artists was our first priority and we are thrilled to be back and in Miami.”
Billboard Latin Music Week festivities will include the Billboard Latin Music Summit on September 20-22 and Billboard Live Party Pass on September 23-25, delivering interactive fan experiences throughout the weekend. Details regarding the Billboard Latin Music Awards will be announced shortly.
