“Little Miss Dynamite” was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Tejano Album of the Year with Obra De Amor. The album’s hit song “Ayer” featuring JR Gomez earned two nominations including Song of the Year and Collaboration of the Year. “Estupida,” a duet with late New Mexico singer Ernestine Romero received a nomination for Collaboration of the Year.

Gomez received the second most nominations with four. The veteran singer and musician earned Song of the Year and Collaboration of the Year for the hit duet “Ayer” with Lares. Gomez was also nominated for Best New Male Artist and Best New Group, after the success of his solo debut album, Cervezas Y Gritos, with Los Conjunto Bandits.

Romero, who was tragically killed in 2019, was a nominee in three categories. The award-winning singer from the “Land of Enchantment” was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, Tejano Album of the Year for Mi Tesoro, and Collaboration of the Year with “Estupida,” the duet with Lares.
