Award-winning Tejano recording artist Isabel Marie Sanchez brought the sounds, colors and traditions of Mexican culture to the NFL stage with a special halftime performance at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, on November 1, 2026.
Performing during the Denver Broncos’ “¡Vamos Broncos!” themed game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Isabel Marie headlined a Mexican-themed presentation celebrating Hispanic heritage and the Latino community.
Backed by Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra and accompanied by Lisa Trujillo Dance Folklórico, Isabel Marie delivered a vibrant live performance featuring several beloved songs that highlighted Mexican musical traditions.
Her set included Selena’s iconic “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” the traditional favorite “Cielito Lindo,” the ranchera classic “Volver, Volver,” and “Viva Mexico,” bringing a festive celebration of Mexican culture to the stadium.
Isabel Marie wore a custom-designed charra outfit featuring Denver Broncos-inspired colors, blending traditional Mexican fashion with the team’s identity.
The halftime presentation was part of the Broncos’ broader celebration of Hispanic and Latino culture, with the game also incorporating Día de los Muertos-inspired visuals, including colorful sugar skull graphics and festive stadium displays.
A return to the Mile High spotlight
The performance marked another milestone in Isabel Marie’s relationship with the Denver Broncos organization. On October 22, 2023, she made history as the first female Tejano artist to perform the U.S. national anthem at an NFL game when the Broncos hosted the Green Bay Packers.
Her return to Empower Field at Mile High for the November 1 celebration provided another opportunity to represent Tejano music and Mexican-American culture on one of professional football’s biggest stages.
Following the performance, Isabel Marie expressed her appreciation to the organization and the opportunity to celebrate her heritage with Broncos fans.
“Thank you so much Denver Broncos for the invite back to perform. I had a wonderful time celebrating our culture and community with everyone,” she shared.
The November 1 matchup was officially designated the Broncos’ “¡Vamos Broncos!” game, celebrating Hispanic culture and community at Empower Field at Mile High. Denver also came away with a 28-24 victory over Kansas City.
For Isabel Marie, the halftime appearance represented more than another major performance opportunity. It was a moment to showcase the richness of Mexican musical traditions, the energy of Tejano music and the cultural pride of the Hispanic community to a national NFL audience.
Her appearance further highlights the growing visibility of Tejano artists beyond traditional music venues, bringing the genre and its cultural roots to new audiences across the country.
