Veronica Y Avance are planning a comeback this year, according to a Facebook Live video posted by Veronica Sustaita on Sunday.

“We’re back,” Veronica excitedly announced in the video. “It’s been a few years, so we’re excited to come back and play for you guys again. We all the had the itch, the music itch, and so we are very excited to be coming out with some brand new original music soon.”

Veronica Y Avance have released three albums, including their debut album Señora Luna in 2009, followed up by Theory Of Evolution a year later and Mi Destino in 2013.

“Right now we’re focused on our brand new original music that will hopefully be out extremely soon,” Veronica added. “We have some exciting stuff that we’re working on. Definitely a new sound, a mature sound. It’s exciting.”

The band won Best New Group at the 2010 Tejano Music Awards and a Best New Female Artist win for vocalist Sustaita.

Veronica Y Avance will make their return to the stage at the grand opening of the Epic Theatre and Grand Lawn in their hometown of Grand Prairie, Texas on September 21, 2018.
