Tejano newcomer Adrian Gutierrez has released his new single, a cumbia remake of “Felices Los 4” featuring Genyva.
The song was a worldwide hit this year for Colombian singer Maluma and now Gutierrez has put his own touch to the track.
“My version to the song is a cumbia, a really fast beat cumbia,” the 16-year-old singer said about the song during a Facebook Live video on November 4. “It’s a very, very good arrangement we did, it was produced by Mr. Chavita, he works with Bobby Pulido.”
The song also features talented singer Genyva, a nominee for Best New Female Artist at last month’s Tejano Music Awards.
“Genyva helped me out so much,” Gutierrez said. “It was because of her, a lot of the project came out really well.”
This song is the follow-up to Gutierrez’s debut single “Dejame Vivir” released via Hacienda Records in early 2017 after winning a singing contest in 2016. The McAllen, Texas native is now independent on his own label, AG Records.
“Felices Los 4” is available now at all digital platforms.
