N Faith receives three nominations for Premios Estrellas del Permian Basin

Tejano Christian band N Faith received three nominations for the 11th annual Premios Estrellas del Permian Basin.

The band from San Angelo, Texas were nominated for Mejor Grupo Cristiano (Best Christian Group), Mejor Album del Ano (Best Album of the Year) for their album Firme En La Tormenta, and Cancion Cristiana del Ano (Christian Song of the Year) for “Levanto Mis Manos.”

“We are so excited and we feel very honored to be nominated in these categories,” said Danny Garcia, N Faith singer and keyboardist. “It’s awesome to be given this platform to share the Gospel of Jesus through our music!”

The nominations come just five months after the release of N Faith’s debut album from Hacienda Records, which the band signed with in October 2016. The album features 10 original songs birthed from the heart of the band and not only tells a story, but gives insight of God’s grace and love for its listeners, with a powerful message, and a rhythm that makes you want to get up and dance.

Premios Estrellas del Permian Basin honors Regional Mexican artists who have made a great impact through their music. For over 10 years now, it continues with the same mission of supporting, honoring, promoting, and recognizing the achievements of nominees. Premios Estrella is one, if not the only, state that determines its winners based on the votes of the public regardless of album sales or position on the charts. N Faith was formed in 2003 by Juan “JJ” Lopez. After losing everything he owned, his business, his house, Lopez found relief in God, putting his complete trust and faith in Jesus. This pushed him to pursue and lift up this “ministry” known today as the band, N Faith. In 2007, Lopez was ordained as a Pastor and founded N Faith Ministries Church. When the band is not on the road and lifting up people spiritually, they are leading people into worship on Sundays. The congregation is growing more and more every year, the “N Faith” name has now taken on a new meaning, EXTENDING THE KINGDOM. N Faith is on a mission to spread the truth of the Gospel, God’s love for his people, and by offering friendship to those that feel lonely.

N Faith features lead vocalist Pastor Juan “JJ” Lopez. The band also includes percussionist and drummer Ernest Lopez, keyboardist and vocalist Daniel Garcia, bass guitarist and vocalist Alex Ayala, and Adam Cordero on lead guitar.
