Singer Tanya Griego has released the title track from her latest album, Quédate. The 2016 Tejano Music Awards nominee for Best New Female Artist recorded the track that was originally meant for another singer, her daughter.
“My daughter Amanda was originally supposed to record ‘Quédate,’ but I just couldn’t give it up,” Griego told Tejano Nation.
The latest single from the New Mexico-based singer, a cover of the hit song from Mexican singer Diana Reyes, was produced by Eddie Perez from Key Of E Music.
Perez is already working on Griego’s fifth album that is scheduled for release in 2017. He is also currently writing an original single for Griego’s 13-year-old daughter Amanda, which is scheduled for a May 2017 release.
