Magali Delarosa rises from small town girl to music star in the official video for her latest single, “Que Sera De Mi.”
The singer is featured walking along train tracks and performing on stage in the visual, directed by Jeff Bergman, showcasing Delarosa’s meteoric rise in her music career.
“Jeff had the idea of having a casual small town girl singing on the train tracks that later in the video turns into the rock star with all the lights,” Delarosa told Tejano Nation. “It some how is aligned with my life and how my music is starting to take flight after so many years working hard towards my goals.
The video was shot in the Texas locations of Brownsville and Pharr, Delarosa’s hometown.
“I was raised in Pharr, so it was so important to me to show a little bit of where I come from in the video,” Delarosa said. “It is one of my favorite productions so far. The second scene with the band really came to life and I am proud to say this will be my touring band in the near future.”
The singer-songwriter is also a fashion designer with her own fashion line, RagzByMagz, and created her fashion for the video.
“The leather jacket in the video was also designed by me and is covered with thousands of crystals which was all done by hand,” she said. “It’s really fun being able to design something special for each video that I do.”
“Que Sera De Mi” is the second single released from Delarosa’s debut album Esta Vez and the singer, who now resides in Los Angeles, California, is already planning her next projects.
“I will be returning to the valley in two weeks to start working on my second album, another music video, and a surprise tribute song to Juan Gabriel,” added Delarosa. “I look forward to also touring in the new year and working harder than I ever have before.”
