TejanoMusicVideos.com posted a photo of the alleged letter from the singer online. This is the second letter that the website has posted from the former Mazz frontman and co-founder. Â A letter from Lopez was posted just over a year ago.
This second letter dated July 9 2016 and addressed to the same person as the first letter, starts off with a prayer from Lopez to the addressees.
Lopez writes about the hot weather this summer, adds that he is ready to head home and he is “innocent of this false charges.”
In November of 2006, Lopez was ordered to serve a 20-year prison sentence for the molestation of a 13-year-old relative at his Rancho Viejo home on the charge of aggravated assault of a child. The jury also ordered 8 1/2 years for a second count of aggravated assault of a child, and four years for indecency with a child. The terms will run concurrently.
The former singer writes about the death of Emilio Navaira, Mazz co-founder Jimmy Gonzalez and his upcoming parole. Lopez will be eligible for parole in October 2016.
In 2014, DNA evidence was turned over to Lopez’s lawyers, but the retested findings have yet to be seen.
