SAN ANTONIO – Legendary Tejano singer Roberto Pulido is recovering after double knee surgery on Tuesday in San Antonio, according to reports.
Internet Tejano radio station BNet Radio reported the news about the 65-year-old singer on their official Facebook page on Wednesday.
“Roberto Pulido recently had double knee surgery in a San Antonio hospital,” reads the post. “The procedure took about 4 hours, but all went well and Roberto is in great spirits, being his usual funny self.”
The surgery was to help Pulido’s ongoing problem with bilateral knee pain and he will need three weeks for recovery, according to a post on Pulido’s official Facebook page.
The family expects the singer will be back soon and stronger than ever with his boots and ready to dance.
Tejano Nation wishes a speedy recovery for Pulido and look forward to seeing “El Primo” back on the stage soon.
