Ray Ray de Los Agues and Aisha Aparicio will release their duet “Sueños” soon.

Ray Ray de Los Agues and Aisha Aparicio recently announced an upcoming duet and spoke about the song, “Sueños,” exclusively with Tejano Nation.

“It’s an original song that we, Los Agues, did in the 90’s and I wanted to do a duet for a long time,” Ray Ray told Tejano Nation. “I just had to find the right female and me and Aisha sound amazing.”

The duet is produced by award winning hitmaker Gabriel Zavala.

“We had the most fun I’ve ever had in a studio with Gabe,” Ray Ray added. “We will be releasing the whole track later this week and we’ll be performing it soon after.”

“We decided to go with producer Gabriel Zavala because Ray Ray and I were both familiar and loved his work and his passion,” Aparicio told Tejano Nation.

This will be somewhat of a debut solo single for Aparicio, who has been a backup vocalist for Stephanie Lynn, Audi Castillon and most recently Savannah Votion.

“While being in the scene this past year, I met Ray Ray and his beautiful wife,” Aparicio said. “They saw me singing at a karaoke contest they were judging and loved my voice . He was looking for someone to do a duet with, and we sang together another song he had in mind from Pete Astudillo and Selena and our voices just meshed and Ray Ray was like ‘I want you.’ So we decided to record an original song that he did with Los Agues.”

A snippet of the song was released online and the full version will be released soon on CD Baby.
